Attendance

60 spots maximum — 30 spots reserved for FM-NJ

You may attend Saturday only or both Saturday and Sunday.

Cost: $50 per person, per day — CASH ONLY

Age Requirement: Collectors must be at least 9 years old. All attendees age 17 and under must remain under constant adult supervision.

Collecting

Collecting will consist of either hard-rock mining, similar to most Herkimer diamond sites, or dump digging. Excellent specimens have been recovered from the dump piles, including specimens valued in the hundreds of dollars.

You may keep what you find, subject to a $2,000 per-specimen value limit. You may collect more than $2,000 worth of specimens in total. If an individual specimen is believed to be worth $2,000 or more, arrangements can be discussed with Shane.

Power tools and battery-powered tools are permitted at no additional charge. Bring your own tools and generator if needed.

Camping

FREE camping is available Saturday night into Sunday.

Tents, campers and RVs are welcome.

Important Site Information

This is a carry-in, carry-out site. Please leave absolutely no trash on the property, including cigarette butts.

Bring plenty of food and water. The nearest supplies are approximately 15 minutes away in town.

A porta-potty will be available on site.
